Each person in this
country is allowed one free annual credit report. It contains
elements from the credit reporting agencies: Experian, Equifax and Trans
Union and is available with a few mouse-clicks. Anyone can download and
print their free annual credit report whenever they want.
This report is
available to all lenders; shouldn’t you have a copy of this very
important financial information? You will be able to see, in detail, all
your open and recently closed accounts. You will see where late payments
were made, and can even check for errors on the free annual credit
report. If there has been fraudulent activity, you can catch this too.
The law has just
recently changed in some states, allowing unlimited copies of credit
reports. But until every state allows this, every other U.S. citizen can
still get one free annual credit report, benefiting greatly from the
information they will discover.
